Panagiotis Vavilis, is a system administrator in the Computer Center of the Hellenic Center for Marine Research. He is also professional diver and member of underwater activities team of HCMR with experience in underwater sampling and constructions.
He is an M.Sc student in Applied and Computational Mathematics and holds a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics. He is very experienced in unix systems, mathematical and shell programming. He has been employed as a fellow at the Institute of Air and Gas dynamics at the University of Stuttgart, at the computer center of the University of Crete and at the Institute of Applied and Computational Mathematics-Foundation of Research and Technology. He is also an external partner of the Environmental and Chemical Processes Laboratory University of Crete.
