Eirini Sigelaki is a Research technician at the Institute of Aquaculture of the Hellenic Center for Marine Research since 2000. She has a Bachelor degree in Aquaculture and Fisheries from the Technological Educational Institute of Messolonghi, Greece. She is responsible for the management of the broodstock facility of the Institute, which consists of 34 tanks of various volumes (2-40 m3) and where breeders of 10 different species of marine fish are maintained for reproduction experiments and for the supply of eggs to the hatchery of the institute. In the past she has also worked in the other departments of the Institute of Aquaculture, mainly the section of live feed production.
