Research Interests
Aikaterini Oikonomaki is a laboratory technician at the Department of Genetics and Molecular Biotechnology of the Institute of Marine Biology and Genetics, Hellenic Centre for Marine Research. She has a long time interest in biochemistry and molecular biology techniques and their application to wild and farmed marine living organisms. She is also interested in fish biometry.
Her occupation with different activities and research programs held by IMBG, HCMR allowed her to obtain extensive knowledge on different methods and techniques used in molecular evolution laboratories.
