Official Launch of the European Project STEPS – SCIENCE FOR GROWTH – EMPOWERING MINDS

The official launch of the pioneering European project STEPS – SCIENCE FOR GROWTH – EMPOWERING
MINDS, funded under the highly prestigious Horizon Europe – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)
framework, will take place on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the Senate Hall of the Gallos Campus in Rethymno.

The STEPS project focuses on scientific empowerment and fostering a “Growth Mindset” among
researchers and educators. Through a multidisciplinary synergy spanning the humanities, natural sciences,
and environmental sciences, the program aspires to develop innovative psychometric tools, specialized
training programs via the Center for Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM) of the University of Crete, and
groundbreaking methodologies with a long-term social and scientific impact.
