The project will be implemented by a company (GET) and a collaborative scheme of 2 research centres (HCMR, University of the Aegean). The role of the participants is: for GET to develop a new innovative product (a geospatial platform for management and dissemination of information) that will help it in its further development, for HCMR, which is the major Marine Research Centre and data provider in Greece, to provide data which will be used to calculate the new products through their combination with satellite data and, for the Aegean University (Marine Remote Sensing Group (MRSG) of the Department of Marine Science) to develop the calculation algorithms for the new products (eg seagrass maps and fishing resources).
