Angeliki Mentzafou, MSc, is an external research assistant of Institute of Inland Waters at HCMR. She assumed her duties in May 2010.
Mrs. Mentzafou completed her postgraduate thesis in Hydrogeological conditions of Almyros Basin, Volos and her graduate thesis in Nitrate pollution and other hydrochemical characteristics of unconfined aquifer east of Menidi, Attica.
Mrs. Mentzafou has also participated in many hydrogeological, hydrological, environmental and water resources management studies.
Her main specialization is in river catchment hydrological, environmental, river hydrodynamic, groundwater flow, contaminant transport, vulnerability, flood and erosion modeling and GIS / remote sensing.
Mrs. Mentzafou also has field and laboratory experience concerning data collection, analysis and processing. Finally she specializes in time series analyses.
