Dr. Dimitris Klaoudatos is an assistant researcher in the Hellenic Centre for marine Research at the Institute for Marine Biological Resources where he assumed his duties in December 2008.

Dr Klaoudatos completed his doctoral training in the University of Wales Swansea on reproductive ecology, population dynamics and population genetics of crustacean decapods as a scholar from Alexander S. Onasis Public Beneficial Foundation.
Dr Klaoudatos was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Thessaly (Volos-Greece) in the department of Ichthyology and Aquatic environment and worked on the reproduction, population dynamics and physiology of the Norway lobster Nephrops norvegicus.

Dr Klaoudatos holds a bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from the University of Wales Bangor as a scholar from Alexander S. Onasis Public Beneficial Foundation, and a bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture and Fisheries from the Technological Educational Institute of Messolonghi.
