Dr. Kriton Grigorakis is a Researcher working at the Institute of Aquaculture of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR). He recruited in this position in December 2006.
Dr. Grigorakis has two degrees, in Biology (University of Patras, Greece) and in Philosophy of Science (University of Athens, Greece), an MSc degree in Biolomolecular Technology (University of Leicester, U.K) and did his PhD in the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside UK, in 1999. His PhD thesis focused on the quality and quality control of farmed and wild gilthead sea bream and sea bass
Dr. Grigorakis has more than 15 years of experience in aquaculture and food areas. He has participated in many EU and national scientific projects and has long teaching experience in the higher education. Twenty-five ISI publications and four book chapters are included in his scientific achievements.
