George Arvanitakis is the technician of macrozoobenthos laboratory in Biology sector of the Oceanography Institution in Hellenic Centre for Marine Research.
He assumed his duties in November 1998.

His main objective is sorting the soft bottom macrozoobenthos organisms in taxonomic groups.

He was also educated in biomass calculation and statistical process of macrozoobenthos organisms .

He now educates students, postgraduate students and doctoral students in zoobenthos lab.
